Soto Livestock Restaurant in Yangsan, Korea - The steak restaurant, Part 2


 The Korean steak is very very expensive. Eating that is a kind of one or two time event which an ordinary man can enjoy during a year. It was before and then even now. It's getting more expensive. Capitalism made it more expensive. Due to more imports of steak from abroad, the competitiveness got weaker... Therefore they started to stop producing... And even imported meat is changed into domestic one... Therefore it's getting more and more scarce. And also low cost breeding with using cheap feed made the steak quality unbelievable. 


 At least 50 or 100 years ago, the meat was so fresh and clean, but nowadays it's not. The chicken and also has similar story. And it is important to know that it is much stressful to choose right one.

 Enter the room



 Yes, as expected it was well decorated. It's a typical Korean restaurant. You can feel that there.

  Other products. I don't know you, westerners eat the intestines... we, Korean enjoy it. They also sell that.





 It's cheaper than the mart meat... It should. 


 The counter... and I could see it's quite popular restaurant by looking at the bills there.  



 : And the side dishes. You can eat as much as you want. It's a Korean thing.

 And the room


 : You have to take off your shoes to enter the room with table. It's also Korean thing. And then there were two tables which were divided by a picture as you see below. 





 The smoke drum is a typical meat restaurant equipment. Which suck the smoke made during baking.








 And the side dishes and the meat we had ordered before put on the table. The side dishes were clean and tidy... Delicious.












  It was so yummy. We bake meat over the charcoal. Steak should be baked slight over the fire. 







 It's not a usual opportunity I can meet. Therefore I ate as much as I could. And we Korean orders a noodle or dish again after eating the meat.. which will make you really full. Personally, I don't like that. Usually I eat much meat and don't order any other food.


 The the coffee was the only one thing I wanted to complain there. 200 won is a small money. Nevertheless the taste was so bad. Actually, you can drink a coffee in a restaurant for free. So I felt it's a kind of expensive.


 The sign says "We just sell Korean domestic steak. If it's not the case, we compensate 500,000,000 won(about 500,000 dollars) for that."


 It means you can meet fake steak out there.
