PUBG vs Fortnite - The fight between the two major PC-based Battle Royal games

PUBG is very popular among Korean gamers, even to young teenagers who try to get a Steam ID just to play this game. It's well known as 'Batteground' in Korea, which is 2nd place just under the League of Legend. I don't think I need to explain about PUBG in steam... already well known to gamers in NA. What I want to say that it's also very popular in Korea, but Fornite is not!!!
As far as I know, the Fortnite is more popular than PUBG in NA. So at this G-Star show, the two games came forth to get attention of Korean gamers. And you can notice the efforts of Fortnite everywhere in Bexco, Korea. I think Epic games made a big decision to enter the Korean market.
Now the market share of Korean in game business is not small considering the population like movie market of Korea. It's huge. I can say that the current Blizzard couldn't exist without Korean gamers. Even the e-sports started here.
Conquering Korean markets in gaming means lots of profits. For example, NCsoft made about 1 billion USD just from Lineage M(mobile game). And also like League of Legend!!!! So now Epic games chose the "Fortnite" as a one big weapon. And it's not a coincidence for you to see the Fortnite at the entrance ticket.
It was very warm and comfortable at the Fortnite Booth. Somewhat I felt the game mood there. And spacious and more open than other booths, which is very different from the booth of PUBG.

: They also spent lots of money for this booth and event. It's serviced through Cacao Games. I thought it's going to be inside of Cacao games but it was independently managed. The programs are about using their strong foot in the Korean market. They didn't focus on the experiencing the game but on showing the dynamic and fun gaming.
They actually got the 100 PCs installed and 100 players played altogether there to be the one left survivor.
And they made a web site only for this event which means they pay so much attention to this 4 days event.
I tried the Fortnite. I've seen a play video before, but it was not easy to get to know how to play. But PUBG, it was kind of easy to learn.

I cannot say which was better just by seeing how many people came to visit. But there were so many visitors to the Fortnite. It is so clear that now many gamers in Korea got to know about Fortnite through this G-Star. Anyway, there will be increasing number of Korean gamers playing it. But I am not sure Fornite will overcome the PUBG in Korea...
