 : There are two buildings at Haewoojae. One is the cultural center and the other is the toilet museum. And the center is very good for kids to play in...

Location

 There is only one special thing at the toilet. It was a automatic door lock which I usually see on the door of a house... And if it works, I have to do push the pass code to enter the toilet....

Haewoojae, Toilet Museum - There are only several museum or park of this kind. Part 1

 : Haewoojae is a word which two words, Haewooso(해우소) and Jae(재, hill) are merged into. Haewooso means a place where you relieve your worries. It is used in temples...referring to a toilet. It was finished on November 11, 2007 and the left family of the founder, Sim Jaedeok donated it to Suwon City.

 I is probably unfamiliar with the association. There is the International Toilet Culture Association... I was amazed of the fact... And then I admitted there might be this kind of association...

Location

 From the 1st exit of Sungkyunkwan University Subway Station, take bus 2-1, 2-5, 39, 64 and 99. Take off at 'Imokdong, Dongwon High School, Haewoojae Entrance' stop. There are two different bus tops... be careful...

Road to Haewoojae

 It worth visiting if you have kids... There is an experience hall for kids... And I expected a uniqueness from the toilet here but...they were just so regular... And kids loved the experience hall very much... And the toproof view wasn't that good..

 : There were total 4 buildings there and only 1 was closed for preparation of a exhibition. When it is in a good time, there might be many things to see but... I was unlucky... There was also an exhibition for kids...

 The pitiful thing is that the Homeplus is just beside of the Art Museum... Commercial and Art... In Korea the capitalism is so shallow...

 "A zoo beside of Art Museum(미술관옆 동물원)" is a movie title which was quite popular then... And now I see A commercialism beside of Arts. I don't like this.... The homeplus is kind of using the art museum to attract customers... As you see in Korea.. the big mart or a department store located at a subway station or a core location of a city.... The commercialism made every Korean cities look alike..... Damn..stupid...
