Myanmar Travel - The preparing Part 5, Making photos for passport by myself

 : There are choices... you can make it by yourself or you can use a professional studio. If you have a good digital camera and a print out machine, you'd better make your own photo. If you are more interested in how you look, you'd better go to a studio.

   My method

 1. Find your previous photo for passport. 

 2. Scan using a scanner. 

 3. Using photoshop or image editor, trim the edges...

 4. Use a photo printing online service such as scopy.

 Total expense: 3,900 won. Total photos: 18.

1	If you plan to do by yourself...

A. Please note the size of the photo for passport. I didn't know that there is a fixed specification on the photo for passport. And the background color should be white.... no color....  

  The specification is rather complicated... issued by the Foreign Affair Ministry. You can see the details by clicking here.

  Basic

  - Horizontal 3.5cm, Vertical 4.5cm. Photographed within 6 months. Front face and no head wear. The length of photoed head should be 3.2 ~ 3.6 cm.

  - Background should be Black.

 

It's the details specified by the Ministry

: FYI, it was not easy to keep the specification elaborately and strictly. If you are not sure how to shoot a photo... you'd better go to a Studio.

 Of course, several experience will make it perfect.

 B. Prepare the camera... and make the background white... If your wall paper is white... it's good... If not, you are going to use a white curtain or something like that.... on the wall. 

 

 C. Take a picture many times... And then select the one closest to the specification.

 D. And the volume and the size rather be bigger. Because with high resolution, you can retouch the photo later...

 

 E. And then print out... using a photo printer...

2	How to use Skopi service

: You can get the photos home if you use skopi kind of service...The minimum resolution of the photo was 800x600 px.

1. Click on the marked one

2. And then click on '증명사진' with mark.

3. Make a unique title

4. And then upload the photo you prepared 

5. And then the result will be like following.

6. After editing, you can order it.

7. The total fee? 3,900 won
