Weird shape of the bridge, Seyeonkyo and Saeseom(bird island?)

The bridge, Seoyeonkyo is connected to Seoseom. There was a breakwater built. And the bridge seemed to be built over the breakwater. And I don't remember seeing any bird on the island. And the bridge was built recently(2009).

 Saeyeonkyo

I don't think Saeseom means "New Island". I thought it might mean "Bird Island" but it wasn't. It means 'island of flame grass'. This explains that I've never seen any bird there.

Good thing to know is that there is some distance from the parking lot. So you'd better be prepared for it.

Location

It has a little big different structure... there are two floors... The shape is also... quite unique.

 Saeseom

: I expected to see many birds there but no bird. I thought it was named after birds... but it wasn't. Saeseom means here "island of flame grass. And disappointed... I didn't feel any difference from the island in Busan...

Just dropped by - The Tourist Information Center and the Seogwipo Submarine

I think the information center is less useful than smartphones now... When I got there there was no one even no workers. And there were visitors of the Submarine but I don't recommend this...

1

 The Tourist Information Center

It's a kind of general information center, not regular one. So it's big sized. Which means that there are many visitors...

They show tour information materials and also tour products.

Location

2

 Seogwipo Submarine

: The price is kind of fixed for the submarine tour, 55,000 won(50 USD) per an adult. Considering the price, I don't recommend this. I would rather use the money for 4 or 5 nights in a hostel.

Location

The flight ticket is about 50,000 won from Incheon to Jeju and cheaper one is about 20,000 won to 30,000... so...

I liked the Nature itself more than the waterfall - Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, Part 2

Nature became more and more precious than before in this era when Korea is more and more industrialized. We dig up the nature if it makes some money indiscriminately. This happens also in Jeju now, which I really think unfortunate. The main reason I go to Jeju is the Nature there.

 Cheonjiyeon Waterfall

 Here, one thing to remember.

 1. You have to go the entrance, not the waterfall which you can look at on the map. The waterfall is a little far from the entrance. Find the location by "Cheonjiyeon waterfall ticket(천지연 폭포 매표소)", not by "Cheonjiyeon waterfall(천지연 폭포) in Naver Map

On google map, search the place by "칠십리시야외공연장". Copy this and paste. No way to search exact location of the entrance in English as far as I checked.

 Entrance fee: 2,000 won(2USD)

 This is the waterfall

: It is blocked not for you to go further inside. I guess it's because of the safety but... I wanted to go further... and also if it is possible to swim there. And there is no way to approach the waterfall from upper side.

A panel describing the animals living there. And many visitors... I guess it's located near the city Seogwipo, therefore...

And the stream was not bad... I wanted to walk along the stream every morning... The nature is the asset not to give up.

Very spacious parking lot and a outdoor stage for some performance. It's near the city Seogwipo, so...

The above is the ticket looking like a bill paper. You have to show the ticket at the checkpoint on the way to the waterfall.

2

 Way to Choenjiyeon waterfall

: Ducks and fish... I feel good seeing those animals... why? Yes it's one of the functions the nature gives us... Automatically my camera lens is directed to them...

: There is some distance between ticket booth and the checkpoint.
