Bukhara is about 4 hours by car far from Samarkand. Personally I liked it more. I thought it must be hotter and more barren than Samarkand, but there was also many trees and much water... Yes, this must be a reason for the place to be a capital in old era.
My previous postings on Uzbek.
1 | Way to Bukhara and... |
: The inside of the train was comparatively clean. And had a TV set and DVD player, with which I watched an uzbek kino which was quite interesting... This place is not that kind of an essential part to understand Uzbek. It has quite different areas and many ethnic group. I can say that it's just a part of Uzbek or middle east Asia or a part of Islamic culture. Actually the border of Uzbek was divided by a political reason, not by a ethnic or cultural reason.

Center of Bukhara
: Yes, the big tree... At least people there take trees precious.
Lots of lodging facilites gathered around here.
It's a welcome message.
: The water is very important here. That is why the place around the river becomes a center...
2 | Cultural Heritage of Bukhara |
: The culture and the buildings are not that different from those in Samarkand. The Islamic culture is quite unified.
Lyabi Hauz(Lake)
: The building surrounds a lake

The Bukhara
: The flat surface of Uzbek...the horizon... is very rare in Korea with lots of mountains... Wide land...
