Busan Milmyeon(Wheat power noodle) beside of Emart

 Was the Busan Milmyeon famous in Korea? I used to eat milmyeon since where I was young. The taste of strong and more elastic noodle was the characteristics I enjoyed. 

 I noticed good price on the way to E-Mart, Yeonje, Busan, Korea. The food court inside Emart are not that good in terms of stuff used to make a meal there. And it means that the value per price is not good at tall.

Location

 Because of the low price, I went there. As far as I checked on the Internet, it seems to be just 4,000 won. But as I recall, it was 5,000 won. I am not sure. 4,000 won seems to be so low price for that. 

 : Yes, it's typical Milyeon, but it wasn't that good for me because of my old age... I like more soft food, I found this while eating this one.  

 : With a big meat, it's the typical meat. The tastes is good. The mistake was I ordered 'the noodle soup with ice'. I should order "bibim milmyeon". "Naengmilyeon' is for summer and 'bibim milmyeon' is for winter. I went there in Spring.

Really good value per price hostel, Birds Nest

  Many cheap and good hostels are around the Hongdae Imgu Subway Station. And this hostel had a good review at Hotels.com. Yes, this was a good choice to stay considering many things.

  I reserved this through 'Hotels.com' which supports Paypal. 8.38 USD for 8-mixed dorm. Total 9.21 USD including tax and fee.

Location

 Despite of several defects, I see some reasons why there were so many female guests there... They seemed to stay there longer time... As you see below, there is a dressing table which I saw in a waiting room for celebrities. 

 One of defects here is the location with which it was hard for me to find the exact location... And also you need to take a right route to go there. If you go on a broad road, you will have to walk more than expected. And it's a little far from the Hongdae Subway Station. 

 And the bed itself was not bad. Looks stable but made noise, not that much. But it they have curtains for privacy, it would be better. 

 Even though, considering the price... it's really good.

 : The managers were part-time workers, foreigners who seems to have come to Korea for studying. 

 : Computer, clean bath and toilet. But the dryer was filled with dusts... 

 This hostel also transformed from ordinary house... and also traces of the oldness were visible in several places...

 The common room was very spacious... comparing with those of other hostels around Hongdae.

Buffet for chicken? Sakyejinmi, Sadang Branch.

 Yep, quite common this kind of restaurant in Korea. Yes, as it says, you can eat as long as you want. The price is 13,500 won per person. And 5,000 unlimited beer there.

 Sadang is the name of a place in Seoul. You can get there from Sadang Subway Station. The price, 13500 won is expensive to me. And also I don't like meat food much. I am very close to a vegetarian. 

 This is very good place if you are really hungry and like meat, chicken.

Location

 As far as I checked on the map, there are only two Sakyejinmi Restaurants in Korea. There might be more. I came to wonder how they supply the chicken that much and also the price they pay... And is it profitable? I don't like the meat personally becaus of the profit centered industrial structure around meat business.

 It seems to be transformed from another restaurant called, SoonHeungGol. 

 : Yep, you can eat unlimitedly, as much as you want... And the friends I went with were all satisfied with the amount... 

 : And the quality was not bad. If you got so hungry and really like chicken, this is the best place you can go... 

Muslim Prayer Room in Korea? Really? Yes it's in the Lotte Tower.

 Seoul is becoming a world city with lots of ethnic groups. It just started to happen from 10 years ago... not long ago... Yes... I can see the Seoul is now international city. 

 The highest building in Korea now is the Lotte Tower, not the 63 story building. It is a new landmark of Seoul. I went there to see the observation center. 

Location

 This was the least expected one to see in the lotte tower. The Muslim prayer room? What? This means they don't care whatever it takes to make money....

 As you see in the pictures, the room was made in luxury. No one there when I entered. I wonder if there is any person who use... this room... 

 : What you have to do is just to go there and pray. It's free. You can find anything you need for prayer. 

 : While being there, I thought if it is real. Actually this was my first time to see this kind of prayer room for muslim. I've never seen anything like this even when I went to muslim countries. As far as I know, muslims just do a prayer in any place whenever they need to do. Therefore they usually take some materials for prayer, such as small carpet(I don't know the name). But here what they have to do is just to go there.... Everything you need for prayer is there...
