1	Continued from Ulsan Daegok Museum

: According to the director of the Museum, the findings here have historical value because they are not seen in other places...

And the Duck shaped earthenware is so different from the others... therefore it's a kind of symbol of this museum. From long ago, Korean people had admired birds, which is the reason those kinds of earthenwares are found all over the Korea but the shape and the size is very unique according to what he said.

As you notice, this is re-assembled... from the broken parts.

: These are what our ancestors used before... Yes, it's the legacy we have.... From these we can guess how the life was then. From the amount and the various shapes, I could guess that they didn't just make these for a living... They did for some fun and an artistic reason.

2	Continued on the Museum

: And another one which the museum took pride in is the Japanese armor. How and when did it come here... Anyway from the old times there had been wars between Korea and Japan.

Location

: The name of the director here is Shin Hyungseok, who was a former director of the Ulsan Civil Museum. He majored in History... And Luckily, I was guided by him which made me late on the schedule of my trip. I've heard many things then but less remember... damn!

Iron armor...

: This is just so old looking heavy but if you see the re-embodied armor, you would know this must be very light. And they cannot continue to display this one because it keeps to be corroded.

: The director himself introduced me of the surroundings... The meaning of the Bangudae and the district names.... Jung Mongju, a symbol of royalty of the last king of Koryeo came here and left a poem on the nature here...

1	Ulsan Daegok Museum

: And I entered the Museum. It's just another museum like others in Korea... But I could see their efforts to make this place special. They had their own stories... According to the findings, this was a kind of producing centers for pots and making weapons. Just like Ulsan right now, lots of people gathered because it has jobs....

: This place is definitely under-valued considering the size and volumes of the findings.... and the values... And also it has very good nature around it. This can be a very good place for kids and old people to get educated and healthy...

2	Conitinue to see

: The museum was supposed to be used as an office for the Korean Water Corporation but the Historic site was found at the place where a dam were planned to be built. Damn it, this is another example of profit over history.

: Every civilization should have a river runs through. And this place also had.. that and good one. And if you walk on the stream, you will find many things... historical.

And the famous Poeun Jeong Mongju

: Jeongmongju is a symbol of the royalty and integrity in Koryo Dynasty. He was banished here after losing a political fight... And he left a poem on the nature here.

And the name Bangudae means the shape looking like a turtle jerking out his head.

Route

: The destinations are all close to the route I am going to take. It it is a famous place, I am going to visit.

Departure: 9 am, Arrival: 9 PM... Yes it took about 12 hours. You can get to the final destination in 5 or 6 hours if you take the highway.

Planned Route

Kyoungae Wangreung(Kyoungae King's Tomb) → Geumcheokgobungun(Geumcheok Old Tombs) → Guryong Jeosuji(Guryong Reservoir) → Kyoungdeok Wangreung(Kyoungdeok King's Tomb, Euseong Geumseongsan Old Tombs) → Euseong Garlic Theme Park → Gwonjeongsaeng Orini Munhakgwan(Gwonjeongsaeng's Children Literature Museum) → Andong Minsokchon(Andong Folk's Village, Parking fee 2,000 won, Entrance 3,000 won)(Skipped) → Yukyo Land(Confucion's Land, Entrace fee 9,000 won, Monday closed) → Andong Minsok Museum(Andong Folk Museum, Parking Free, Entrance fee 1,000 won) → Andong Artifacts Culture Museum(Parking and Entrance free) → Baekjo Gongwon(Swan Park, Skipped) → TalChum Gongwon(Mask Dance Park, Skipped) → Danyang Aqua World(Skipped, closed on Monday) → Sogeumjeong Park → Danyang Danuri Center(Parking 200 won/10 minutes. Entrance fee for Aquarium and free) -> Danyang Palkyoung(Danyang's 8 great views) → Jechon Hyangkyo(Jeocheon Old Educational Institute) → Jechoen Municipal Library

: It doens't work as planned. Sometimes we encounter a new thing... And somethign is not worth visiting...

Actual Route(on the way to Dunne myeon, Kangwondo)

Start(Busan) → Ulsan Daekok Museum(not planned one) → Kyoungaewangreung → Park Mokwol(a famous poet)'s House(Skipped, not planned before) → Geumcheok Gobungun → Guryong Reservoir → Kyoungdeokwangreung(Euseong Geumseongsan Gobungun) → Euseong Garlic Theme Park → Geonjeongsaeng Children Literature House → Destination(Dunnemyeon, Kangwondo)

: I came here after encountering a signpost on the way... I didn't find this when I searched information... And this is the main reason why I was late on schedule. I came to be a sole visitor to the Museum then... and came to know the place surrouding the Museum... And also the Parkmokwol's.... I really wanted to...visit but... I couldn't because of the time limit.

And I had to go directly to my destination after visiting the Kwonjeongsaeng Children's Literature House as the last place.... when it was aroiund 5 pm...

Actual Route(Returning to Busan)(Monday, it's important because usually National Museums are closed on Monday)

Departure(Dunnemyeon) → Jecheon Sports Center Playground → Jecheon Municipal Library → Kecheon Hyangkyo → Danyang Danuri Center(Parking 200 won per 10 minutes) → Sogeumjeong Park → Danyang Palkyeong(Skipped) → Danyang Aqua World(Skiped) → Andong Folk Museum(Parking Free, Entrance fee 1,000 won) → Andong Folk Village(Parking Fee 2,000 won, entrance fee 3,000 won)(Skipped) → Yukyo Land(Entrance fee, 9,000 won, closed on Monday) → Busan

: The missing part were the Danyang and Andong... which had lots of places to visit... One day was not enough for Danyang and Andong.... And the centers and major facilities were closed... Remember Monday is not a good day for visiting Museums.

2	Daegok Museum, the first visit

: It was a good place to visit with good view and surroudings... including the historical facts. I couldn't see all the things due to the time limit.

Location

: It was located in a suburban place... a little bit deserted... And you have to drive furtuer for more than 5 to 10 minutes from the main road to get there.... And Daegok is not a familiar name...

: In Korea it's quite interesting subject on this game. According to the article at Gamechosun, there is no release date announced by NCsoft so far. Just Closed Beta test is scheduled to start early this year.
