2nd Light Festival in Haeundae Rakko Festival, Open Radio Station and the Festival, Part 5

 : It's time for me to come home. As usual, I don't have much time. Even though I had enough time, I wouldn't travel more there... I would rather spend my time at a PC bang.

 And how about making a festival which make me take part in... attracts more people...there really fun and interesting...

 There was no special decoration at others except the center road and the market street. And coming home, I saw many restaurants claiming they are the original Kukbapzip... which is usual scene you can see in Korea... such as Chungmoo Kimbap in Tongyong... Each says it is the original...

 I don't known any festival famous in the world, very special or unique, fun and interesting in Korea such as color festival in India... water festival in Myanmar...

 But Korea? In Busan, just a Christmas tree festival? 

 For example, there is so called Kamcheon Town in Busan...which is popular among Koreans.. but not to foreigners... which is not that special to them... 

 We have to open our eyes and find our own thing... unique... things. And make it famous in the world.. We can do that... Already temple stay is kind of popular thing because it's the thing which can be enjoyed only in Korea.

 : The Rink was impressive, quite big... but less people there when I visited...

 Not many skaters at the rink are good for customers but bad for the sellers. And it's open 24 hours at the Christmas Eve and the last day of the year. And how many would come there for staking, I suspect... because that day couples or families come to see and take photos... not skating...

 Fee: 12,000 won for adult, 10,000 won for teens, 8,000 won for children, which includes renting a skate shoes and safety helmet... Is it cheap or expensive, I don't know... but somewhat expensive to me.

 Markets are more comfortable than a department store. That day, many people were at the market street full of tourists of Korea and Foreigners... I would rather go to markets than an apartment when I visit a foreign country... Big market? which I can visit also here but the traditional market is the only one or rare one which I can visit....

 Well arranged street, unified neon sign... but various sellers and products which attracts customers there...

 :The big tree was at the main entrance part of the beach. Lots of couples took pictures. 

 On the other side, it's the job for the tree makers.. Or some artists made money from it.

 There are lots of hotels around it. I expected the hotel to be decorated like shops at Gwangbokdong... But it wasn't, which means Hotels don't care much of the festival... I guess.

  At night, Haeundae is very good place for a peace of a mind. And also for wannabe singers, it's a good place to practice in front of people...

 The ice skating became more popular due to the world famous skater, Kim Youna. And bunch of people were there enjoying...

 : It seems to imitate the Gwangbokdong Festival. I guess they've witnessed the success of the commercial zone... This is why they planned to do... this.

 But not like Kwangbokdong... It's not better... not bad. They seem to try to say, "it's Haeundae, OK?"

 There are several interesting events expected on the December 31.

 To me, Haeundae is an independent city, separated from Busan.

 As you know there is a ice link for ice skating. And several lighting art works on the street... it's not bad... If you want to enjoy the sea, ice link and the street together... Come to Haeundae now.
