 There are this kind of museums in the other cities around the world. The folk culture and the history of Nature. I think it is really close related with each other. 

 It's because it is Jeju. If not, it would be for free. And it was very spacious and also big building.

The location

 After stones, soils, animals and insects, folklore cultures came. Well embodied. To me, it's not special but to kids it would be special.

 From the career ceremony, wedding, funeral and ancestral rites to ordinary living aspects... they were embodied as they were before.

 : The old lives and houses were demonstrated very well.

 : The old lives are not strange... very familiar because I has been exposed by TV series... Yes, not that special to me.

: I expected somewhat different cultures from the culture of the mainland Korea... but it wasn't...

The location

 Even they brought stones... Yes this is very good chance to know better of Jeju scientifically. 

 If you go further, you are going to find plants, animals and so on. Yes, it's Nature of Jeju.

 Later you are going to find the culture of old Jeju...

 : Animal models like these are common in other museums also. But it's very detailed... looking like a living animal.

 : And the bear... which is almost extinct in Jeju... which is too bad.

The location

 2,000 won is a cheap price considering the prices in other countries. Of course I don't want any high price. I want it to be free like other national museums in Korea. 

 I had to walk a little bit longer before getting into the building which means very spacious place. And near this facility, it has a park. 

 And there was a exhibition outside. Many stones displayed outside... such as old sculptures.

 : The regulations are many... and specific... I think it is results of so many tourists from China... It is first time I've seen this kind of long list of something not to do for a museum.

 : Here you can see many natural artifacts. I suggest that you should start traveling from this, I mean before seeing the real nature of Jeju... in a sense that you gather some information before exploring...

A private art gallery in Jeju - Arario Museum

 In Jeju there are many different kinds of museums and amusement parks. Yes, it's typical aspects in major tourist cities like Jeju. The tour industry in Jeju is based on Nature, not some facilities. I hope Jeju Citizens keep in mind that you should preserve the Nature whatever it takes. Don't fall into greed please and especially indiscriminated development.

 It is also in Seoul. I've seen two places... According to the web site, there are 3 museums in Jeju and 1 museum in Seoul. There might be more... And I've seen only two places. It has 2nd name, which is Dongmoon Motel. It was the former building's name... It's transformed into an Art Gallery.

 The building is dense red, which is so conspicuous.

 : 10,000 won. It's expensive to me... Of course those who afford and love arts don't think it is very cheap... but... to me.. it wasn't.

 : I don't know how many visitors come but I think less people... I cannot imagine who would come to Jeju just for seeing the art works...
