Jeju Udang Library

 Why library? If you are interested in Korean culture now, you'd better visit Korean library. It's usually for free and allowed to enter for foreigners, as far as I know... Library is a good place to take a rest with reading a book. And lots of students and people come here reading books...

 This library is donated by Udang Kim Yongha, who is a father of Kim U Jung, the president of the former Daewoo group. Udang was also mayor of Jeju...

The location

 National? or private? It's public library. Not bad. Just the size is not that big. But OK to me. 

 The building is itself very old, but good. In Korea there are not many old buildings left now. Here there was no lockers... as far as I checked there.

 : Libraries is one of few things I like about Korea. We have a long history of book loving and book respecting, which is the reason I guess still so many people go to a library for reading... 

 : There is an app for book borrowing from a library in Korea. And some events and programs are going on in a library. You will enjoy spending some time here, looking at many books in Korea.....

Yes, of course, it's free - Jeju National Museum

 Every Korean National Museum is free as far as I know. Not like thoes in other countries. Of course, some museums in other countries are free for domestic citizens but not for foreigners.. But here in Korea it's all free for foreigners and also Koreans.

 Are you going to visit just Jeju in Korea? This is a must-go. It's free, why not? I don't recommend this place as a must-go museum if you are going to visit other cities in Korea such as Seoul. You'd better go to Korean National Museum in Seoul, which is the best. 

 If you are going there with other people, take a taxi which should be more cheaper.

 It's not bad in my standard. But only the size is not that big comparing with others in Korea. And the way of exhibition and the artifacts are very similar with the ways of other Museums in Korea.

 Even it is very convenient. Come and find information about Jeju and Korea... This can be a good start of your journey in Jeju.

 : Good facilities. And also trend of museums are reflected.

 : If you are going to just visit Jeju, you have to go to this museum. If not, you may skip this one.

Typical Hostel Style Guest House in Jeju - Skywalker Guesthouse

 Lots of guest houses are gathered in Jeju island. Usually more hostels and guesthouses in Jeju City. And also there are many guesthouses not registered in Hotel Reservation Apps. And FYI, the cheapest offers can be found in "Agoda.com" as far as I checked then. The price range was from 8 USD... in hotels.com

   I reserved this through 'Hotels.com' which supports Paypal. 12.34 USD for 4-male dorm. Total 13.57 USD. It's a little bit expensive to me. 

Location

 One of the good things here is that it is located close to the biggest market in Jeju called Dongmun Market which has night market...

 It seemed that it was built originally for a hostel.  

 Good things

 1. It has everything you need for a hostel.

 2. Shower and toilet is separated from dorms and rooms. And also the room is quite big enough.

 3. Some floors only for males and other floors only for females...

 4. Common room on the 1st floor is quite big

 5. Close to the market and good value per price.

 Bad things 

 1. Many Chinese tourists seemed to use this place... Long staying guest?

 2. No curtain for privacy.

 3. Need to manage better the cook.

 4. Some rules and regulations to keep.

 5. Somewhat weak wifi antenna.

 Firm and stable bed. Less noise made.

 : Spacious... enough for many guests. Fair breakfast with cheese and eggs. 

: But the frying pan was not enough clean... They need to clean it or buy new one. 

Bold imagination of Sex, Jeju Love Land, Part 2 - +18

 1. Price 12,000 won(about 11 USD). Low value per price.

 2. You will see many artifacts and arts about sex there(Almost sculpture).

 3. Sex shop there. Good place for couples.

 4. If you expected something more erotic or sensual? find pornography.

 Few years ago I've heard of this place from a foreigner. After that, I've made my mind to go there some day. But the entrance fee was high to me... 7,000 or 8,000 won would be enough for this... 

Location

 Inside you can find a sex shop... in which there were so many sex toys. So various... it's like sex shop museum.

 And also it seems to have a theme exhibition...

 : It used to be like this. Now it is considered a sexual harassment... 

 And the pigs sculptures were every corner...

 And I came to wonder which line is between art and sensuality.
