Tips for traveling in Korea 1 - Charging for free.

If you travel longer hour, the short battery life is a big inconvenience.

But there is a solution for this if you travel by Subway in Korea.

There are two ways.
One is to recharge in a place where you are supposed to recharge. Almost every station has a recharging station near a Customer center like the following picture.
It is very useful when you have just a smartphone without a cable and a recharger.

But sometimes it mal-functions or the connector is broken or is not compatible with your device.

If you have a recharger and a cable, here is another way which is not supposed to be used for the purpose.

It is to use the power outlet like the following. It is almost every corner at the station.

I use this dozens of times. But never been interrupted by anyone and no one told me not to do.
