 Traveling route of Daegu City

 It was better than I expected to be. What I liked more about Daegu was the "modern street" and "Yakryeongsi"(Korean medicine street).

 When I visited, there were several festivals going on in Daegu. It was the Colorful Daegu Festival and Yakryeongsi Festival. 

1	Planned route and the actual route

 Departure from Gupo Train Station(8:04am) → Dongdaegu Train Station(9:21am) → Shinsekye Department Store → Hyunchungro Subway Station → Apsan Park(Daegu South Library,Daedeok Cultural Center, Apsan Food Olle Street. Observatory 9500won) → Duryu Park(Namgu Sea Food Street, Duribong Cross Section,Seongdangmot, Daegu Art Center, E-world, 83 tower) → Duryu Station(Naedang Station) → Shinnam Station → Seomoon Market → Seomoonro Towel Street → Kyesan Church → Lee Sangwha Old House → Daegu Yakryeongsi Museum → Hyundai Department Store → Banwoldong Bongsan Culture Center → Yasi Street, Dongseongro Rodeo Street → Daegu Department Store → 2.28 memorial Central Park → National Debt Repayment Movement Park(The debt repayment movement memorial hall, Central Library) → Kim Kwangseok Redrawing Street → Daebaek Praza(Daebongkyo Station)

Actual Route

 Departure from Gupo Train Station(8:04am) → Dongdaegu Subway Station(9:21am) → Hyunchoongro Subway Station → Apsan Cafe Street → Chunghon Tower → Apsan Observatory, 9,500won for cable car → Apsan Park(Imyongsang Martyr Statue, Lee Siyoung Martyr Memorial Tower, Nakdong River Victory Memorial Hall) → Duryu Park(Seongdangmot, Daegu Art Center, E-world, 83 tower) → Duryu Subway Station → Midtown Hostel → Colorful parade near the Joongsangro Subway Station

Places missed:

 Shinsekye Department Store(open 11 am)

 Daegu Southern Library, Daedeok Culture Center, Apsan Food Rounding Street(Due to lack of stamina)

 Namgu Sea Food Street, Duribong Cross Road near the Duryu Park(While moving to Seongdangmot, I didn't check the route)

 Banwoldong Bongsan Culture Center(Bongsan Culture Street)

The suggested routes by officials

 Among them, what I liked most... the 2nd one, called 'Modern Street' course.

 Along the course, I could visit the Yakryeongsi Festival... From this event, I came to know that there were only two Yakyreongsi(Korea medicine specialized market) in Korea. One is in Seoul and the other is in Daegu. And it has really long history.
