Choi Yongshin Memorial, Part 2

 : While seeing the story, I came to think why good people die early... Damn bad thing... because God was jealousy of her? or God couldn't see her suffering on earth and bring her to heaven earlier? She died young of malnutrition. What a tragedy...it is.

 The former President, No Muhyun died... and then Kim Daejung... and then Kim Youngsam... The bad three former presidents are still alive... Jeon Du whan, No Taewoo and Lee Myoungbak... In this way, the next one should be No Taewoo.

 At every corner, you can see her love... not a history or something else... I think people also loved her so much...then.

 Here is Sangroksu where she devoted her youth... I came to the top of a mountain to take a picture of current Sangroksu... How would she feel about this changed city... the local place. 

 Long ago the movie based on the Novel was made. But it's so old movie... I embedded the movie here... I guess a new movie can be made...

Choi Yongshin Memorial, Part 1

 : Sangroksu is the title of a novel written by Kim Hun, long ago, the last century. I have read and moved by the life of the teachers... who tried to change Korea by education in an suburban areas... under the Japanese ruling... 

 I also agree with the importance of education... This is why the 1%ers do not give up on this... We lost in the game... in the No Muhyun regime... They protested with all the power they had.... including our current president, Park Geunhye.

Location

 After visiting there, I realized why the location name is Sangroksu... And the life of Choi Yongsin became well known through the true-story novel by Kim Hun... Choi Yongsin was a teacher full of love... which changed the kids there...

 You would find it hard to understand this place if you are not aware of history of Korea under the Japanese ruling. I guess that is why no tourist from abroad been visible while I was there.

 After the 3.1 movement, people realized how important the education is... And bunch of young people devoted themselves in education in country sides of Korea. Ordinary people then just tried to survive... Less food and exploited... Under the harsh situation, some people focused on education.

 To me, stories about a hero or a king is not that interesting or moving... this kind of ordinary people's story is far more interesting... I think they changed the world... not one people. And this is the story on a women teacher who really loved kids and devoted her life for the enlightening people.

From Chungmuro Station to Hanok Town in Namsangol, Part 5

 : This is a good place to drop by on the way to N-tower of Namsan or for climbing mountain for health. Even they are not the same in each season... with different leaves and colors the Town and Namsan will welcome you.

 Somebody asked me to take a picture, thinking I am a foreigner... When I said, "I am a Korean", they were startled... 

 And I met tourist girls from China who were so cute... and kindly explained how to go to N-tower...

 There is a tunnel way to N-tower from there. If you are a tourist to travel around there, I recommend a route from DDP(Dong Daemoon Design Plaza) to N-Tower.

Route: DDP Dongdaemoon Design Park -> Cheongkyechon 6ga cross road -> JeonTaeil Memorial Bridge -> Walking on Choengkyechon -> Cheonkyechon 4 ga crossroads -> Ueljiro 4ga In the Paper Shop -> Junggu District Office -> Chungmuro Station -> Daehan Theater -> The House of Korea -> Namsangol Hanok Town -> N Tower

  At Cheongkycho, you can see dynamic commercials and workers there; at In The Papershop, you can see paper industry, Doosung Paper Company; at Junggucheon, a social and governmental system of Korea; Deahan Theater is the old theater; at The house of Korea, you can enjoy the view of tiny but clean Traditional Korean house...; and then... 

 My nation, my soil... here many tourists come... To me they are familiar but someone really wants to visit them. So I decided to travel inside before going abroad.

 And I get to desire to have a traditional house one day...

 There are three main aspects in the town to see. One is the 'time capsule plaza' which doesn't interest people much, the other is the Traditional Korean House and the Installed arts which shows the modern people's obsession. 

 Here the main is the Hanok itself. And also there were most people around the house. And tourists wanted to touch and feel... And took photos... even Koreans also...

 Yes, the experience becomes products...
