Just a few days left before the G-Star starts. How are the major participants preparing fr this event?

: As far as I check on the 12th of November, 2018, there are only three major participants who made G-Star web pages... They are Netmarble, Epic Games, and Cacao Games...

And Nexon.

 They just published many youtube videos... about the games they are going to present at the G-Star this year. According to an article, the publisher who has the biggest booth and the largest amount of games presents are Nexon. But not like last year, this time they didn't make any web site for that.

And NCsoft.

 They published a web pages about their line up which will be published later. They are all mobile games, which means they are not going to show any PC-based games.  

 It seems to me that it's because of the huge success of Lineage M.

 And last, "Epic Games", which is the official sponsor for G-Star this year...

 : They showed G-Star dedicated web site. Fortnite is the one of top games in the world now. Even it went over PURG. Now they are planning to expand their market to Korea directly... I am not sure if they will be successful in Korean market... We have very different gamer base which can be represented by "Lingerssi"(a word made from Lineage + Ajosi(uncle)).  

 But now it's a little bit different. Fortnite is well known among young gamers in Korea. I mean gamers are now changed... new generation of games appeared. So why not!!!

Tips for you before going to G-Star, Bexco, Pusan

 : A few days left before G-Star opens. So major game publishers are doing their best to prepare for that. Among them, Netmarble and Epic games are conspicous.

 1. If you are looking for a free ticket, here is a way. Go to following blogs and ask them to give one. You may get one.

 2. If you don't like very crowded place, avoid Saturday and Sunday.

 3. Set your goals. And don't ask too much!!

    - If you just want to see new games... and take your time.

    - If you want some gifts!!, you'd better choose one or two booths...

 4. Keep the booth location and potentially crowded booths in advance(Usually, Nexon, Ncsoft and Netmarble are most crowded one)!

 5. The managers of the booths are a kind of veterans. So, they don't distribute gifts at the first day, Thursday. 

 6. It starts at noon on Thursday, the first day. So don't be confused...with 10 am when it usually starts.

 7. You'd better prepare apps such as facebook, istagram and so on...  

 8. Install QR scanner... which is quite useful.

 9. Outside of Bexco building, there are probably several booths, where you don't need any ticket to enjoy. 

 10. Long line doesn't always mean good gift or good game.

: Getting familiar with how they are going to proceed each event can be helpful. And they do them differently, so... Knowing means you can save some time.

지스타 준비 팁 - 2018 지스타

 : 지스타가 목전으로 다가왔다. 이 목전으로 다가온 지스타를 대대적으로 준비하는 게임사도 있고 그렇지 않은 게임사도 있다. 이 준비에는 수많은 자원이 요구되기 때문이다. 그중에 제대로 준비하는 것으로 보이는 게임사는 '넥슨'과 '넷마블'이다.

 4. 입구부터 부스 위치와 인기 예상 부스의 위치를 미리 파악해두자!

 5. 이벤트 진행하시는 분도 오래했기 때문에 경품을 목요일에는 잘 안푸는 경향이 있다!!! 혹시 나중에 모자를까봐! 빨리 분위기 파악하고 다른 부스를 찾는 것도 좋은 방법.

 6. 목요일은 12시부터 입장이다. 즉 오전 10시에 도착해도 입장하지 못한다.

 7. 올해도 역시 '어플'을 활용한 이벤트가 많을 예정. 트위터, 페이스북, 인스타그램 등을 미리 준비해 놓자. 

 8. QR 코드 프로그램이나 지스타 관련 프로그램도 미리 깔아두자.

 9. 입장권이 필요 없는 실외 행사도 쏠쏠한 게 많다.목요일 12시 이전 입장이 안되는 경우에도 실외에서는 진행하는 경우도 있으니 참조하기 바란다.

 10. 줄 많이 서 있다고 무조건 좋은 건 아니다.

: 각 게임사의 이벤트 정보를 미리 숙지해놓으면 도움이 많이 된다. 각 부스마다 이벤트 진행 방식이 다르기 때문에 어떻게 해야 할지 물어볼 시간을 확실히 줄일 수 있다.
